The Vault
The initial version of the Tauri Vault operates using fixed-duration investment cycles.
Capital is organized across multiple parallel vaults, each running a defined cycle length. Vaults are staggered in time so that new cycles begin at regular intervals and capital becomes available for settlement frequently.
Users commit capital to the next available vault. Once a cycle begins, capital becomes active immediately and is deployed into Tauri’s grain operations. Yield accrues continuously throughout the cycle based on real-world execution.
At the end of a cycle, users may withdraw principal and accrued yield or allow their position to roll forward into the next cycle to continue compounding.
This structure ensures disciplined capital deployment while maintaining predictable entry and exit points aligned with real-world settlement timelines.
Vault Cycles
Travessia Vaults work on a cycle logic to accomodate the operational process of our partner Tauri.
Each vault locks capital for 90 days to be used for operations. After a cycle ends the vault automatically rolls over into the next cycle to keep capital productive.
To give frequent deposit and withdrawal options we run six staggered vaults in parrallel. This means every 15 days one vault opens and closes giving ample opportunity for users to deposit/withdraw.
Deposit
10 Days before a the next cycle starts deposits open. All funds that have been collected until cycle start will than be sent to Tauri to be used productively. Once that happens deposits are closed for 80 days (10 days before the next cycle). If users want to deposit in the mean time there are 6 other vaults running in parallel. Meaning every 15 days there is one vault that starts their next cycle.
On deposit an equal value of shares will be minted which track the value of the deposit and can later be used in withdrawals to claim principal + yield accrued.
Withdrawals
There are two types of withdrawals available.
Regular Withdrawal Regular withdrawal can be queued at any time during a cycle. Funds in the regular withdrawal queue still generate yield until the end of the cycle. On cycle end they stop accuring yield and Tauri will pay out the principal value and all yield accrued so far in up to 5 days. Regular withdrawals dont have any fees.
Early Withdrawal Early withdrawals are open until 10 days before a cycle ends (80 days in). Early withdrawals do not accrue any more yield while they are beeing processed. Tauri processes early withdrawals in up to 14 days and charges a 1.5% fee to accomodate the operational costs involved.
Oracle / Yield
Yield is fixed and doesnt fluctuate even if the vault grows or shrinks. You will always be paid the same predictable rate. The oracle tracks the value of each vault share and accrues the interest on a second by second basis.
